We heard by the grapevine that the Woodard family broke in their new camping trailer last Friday evening. We are anxiously awaiting a report of that experience: successful or not. From our own own personal experience, early "shakedowns" are valuable learning experiences best practiced not too far from home and we emphatically recommend REGULAR ANNUAL spring "shakedowns" in order to remember to make lists & check them twice (which we learned through strenous depreviation of some personal comfort because we belong to some higher order of mammals who obviously can't even spell)

Good advice. We usually chose someplace within 20 minutes of home. Quick trip for that item the kid can't live without!
